This dedication is foundational to all of the work that I do and is an important guiding principle for the types of projects and collaborations I take on. I believe that people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and experience levels should be encouraged and celebrated for their contributions to science, and I sincerely commit to never backing down on this, regardless of what ignorant, egomaniacal bully sits in power.
